Maggie grew up surrounded by art, with a tattoo artist father who also dabbled in woodworking and a mother who created with stained glass. She enjoys creating in any medium but works primarily in acrylic, watercolor, pencil, ink, and pyrography.

In 2017, Maggie began exploring the art of pyrography. Pyrography, more commonly known as wood burning, allows Maggie to express her love of the natural world and the organisms that exist within it. Maggie is often inspired by animals and scenes of the Northwestern United States. She is passionate about the care and preservation of the species that call the Northwest home.

Maggie believes art is for everyone to experience – to create and to own!
